I’m just a girl living her best life as one of many blue dots in a red state. Art was, is, and always will be my escape from the craziness of the world. Whether creating or enjoying it, creativity is a mainstay of life that nourishes so many aspects of me. I think what I hope for this blog is for it to be a celebration of life and art because they are so very intertwined. I’m a writer, painter, wannabe filmmaker, and all around pain in the ass to some.

I grew up an Army brat where we travelled literally from sea to shining sea. I’ve been very blessed to be so well travelled at a young age that I really didn’t settle down in one spot for longer than six years until my 20s. I had my first son young and was a single parent for a number of years but had a great support system in my family. During that time, I finished school with a degree in Art, started a career in the corporate world, discovered my love of writing, got married, and one more kiddo. Life has definitely been, eventful.

On here I am going to share my thoughts on life, my artistic work, and my adventures. While this is for me, I hope if you decide to come along you find value in these pages. So welcome to the adventure.
